In 1981, I CAME TO AMERICA AS A TINY, EXCITED, AND NERVOUS LITTLE GIRL. WHAT A CHANGE GOD PLACED IN MY LIFE THAT I WAS ABOUT TO EMBARK ON, AND WHAT A JOURNEY I WAS ABOUT TO HAVE.

Landing in America!

🌺🎁 TODAY, in the year 1981, on December 4th this picture depicts the face of a little girl. A scared little girl dressed in a little red jumper saying her last goodbyes to not only her homeland and extended family. But a confused, and heavy goodbye to an unknown father and mentally ill biological mother. As fate would have it, Ana would leave her homeland of Costa Rica, arrive in a strange land called America, and then be left to wonder, every year her birthday candles danced in front of her, and she would wonder.. “When might I return back home to Costa Rica again?”

Sitting upon the mountain of, Costa Rica,

Brought to the mountains of Utah.

This little orphan had arrived!

The winter season year of 1974 would be Christmas.

Christmas came and much love was shared, however…

ONE DAY, I KNEW I’D STATE OUT LOUD IN MY SOUL AND ASK MYSELF…

“Christmas Day had indeed come with sparking gifts under my tree..

Yet, what were my greatest gifts in life? And how would I know?”

This is my Story.
